LASU VC makes new Appointments

Lagos State University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun

The Lagos State University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun, has approved the appointment of new principals of the Institution.

In a statement obtained by CAMPUS FOCUS on Tuesday, 19th May, 2020, cut across Faculties of Science, Social Sciences, Management Science and Clinical Science.

The appointees are listed as follow: Prof. Kabiru Olusegun Akinyemi, of the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science as Director, Lagos State University Directorate of Linkages, Partnerships and Collaborations, for a period of 3 years, from 11th May, 2020 to 10th May, 2023.

“Dr. Sherifat Olabisi Yusuf, Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences as Assistant Director, Lagos State University Directorate of Advancement (LASUDA) for a period of One (1) Year, from 14th May, 2020 to
13th May, 2021.

“Dr. Tajudeen Abayomi Olumoko, Department of Marketing, Faculty of Management Sciences as Acting
Dean, Students Affairs, Lagos State University for a period of One (1) Year, from 18th May 2020 to 17th, 2021.

“Prof. Ayo Omotayo, Department of Geography and Planning, Faculty of Social Sciences as Director, Centre
for Planning Studies, Lagos State University, for a period of Three (3) Years from 14th March, 2020 to 13th March, 2023.

“Dr. Yetunde Abiola Kuyinu, Department of Community Health& Primary Health Care, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, Lagos State University College of Me (LASUCOM) reappointed as Assistant Director State University Directorate of Advancement (LASUDA), for a period of One (1) Year, from 28th March, 2020 to 29th March, 2021.

“Dr. A.K Onafalujo, Department of Insurance, Faculty of Management Sciences re-appointed as Acting Head,
Department of Insurance for a period of Two (2) Years, from 16th April, 2020 to 15th April, 2022.”
