The Kogi State University, Kabba is a new established university in Nigeria located along Okene-Kabba express road, Kogi State. Kogi State University, Kabba was approved by National Universities Commission (NUC) on 26th of June, 2023.

The Kogi State University, Kabba is the 265th university in Nigeria, 62nd State owned university and the 4th university in Kogi State. Kogi State University, Kabba was built under the tenure of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.

There are three (3) faculties in Kogi State University, Kabba which includes seventeen (17) departments and twenty five (25) approved programmes.

Kogi State University, Kabba is set to begin their academic activities on 23rd of September, 2023 with one phase of environment. There will be research and academic centre, big ICT centre and learning resources such as library within the campus.
