- Visit the hostel admin office to collect the hostel application form.

- Go back and submit the application form to the hostel admin in their office.
- After some weeks of submitting the hostel form, the Hostel Management will carefully go through and review the applications and select eligible students to be allocated to different hostel rooms.
- Upon school resumption of academic session the list of students who qualified to stay in the hostel will be pasted on the hostel admin office notice board.
- If your name is among the list of students that is given Hostel room, you can proceed to make the necessary payment via the Remita payment platform.

- Visit the design Remital payment platform to pay for the hostel accommodation fee on the Remita website.
- Under the Remita website, type https://remita.net/
- Click on “Pay TSA & State“.
- Choose “FGN: Federal Government Of Nigeria” from the list of states you see.
- Now choose “Bayero University, Kano – 1000129” from the list of institutions mentioned.
- Choose any of the campuses you prefer to stay.
- Select your hostel block and enter your description e.g Hostel Fee
- Enter your department name and type correctly your student registration number.
- Ensure to enter payer’s full name.
- Select “NGN – Nigeria Naira” as your currency and enter phone phone number correctly.
- Enter your email address and click “I am not a robot“ to reboot it.
- Click on “Submit” and select your preferred payment method to begin the payment.
- Once you are through from entering payment data, scroll down and click on “Print Receipt” to download the receipts.
Note:- The receipt is very important and you must download it because that is what you will show the hostel admin when school resume.
Submit the generate receipt to the hostel admin office. After a quick review by the hostel admin on the receipt, your hostel room key will be given to you.
